Coconut Midrib Flower Vase

The Coconut Midrib Flower Vase is handcrafted from the dried midribs of coconut palm leaves, the stiff central spines that remain after the leaf surface has dried. These midribs are cleaned, sized, and assembled by hand into a structured vase form using natural binding in a traditional Sri Lankan craft method. Coconut midrib products are part of a sustainable craft tradition, using a natural by-product of coconut farming that would otherwise be discarded. The fine, fibrous texture of the midrib surface gives the vase a refined, architectural look that works well with dried flower arrangements, pampas grass, botanical stems, and preserved foliage. The natural tan-to-brown tones complement terracotta, linen, white ceramic, and bleached wood in contemporary natural interiors.
